Sitapur: Platoon Commander of Moradabad Nine-Battalion PAC was shot in the left leg. The commander was checking the pistol during which the shot went off and went into the leg. In a hurry, the authorities brought him to the district hospital. Doctors have referred her to Lucknow after initial treatment, seeing her condition is critical.

The event is at 4:30 pm on Friday evening. It is being told that 58-year-old platoon commander Puran Keda came to Amanesh (ammunition) at Sitapur’s Central Ordnance Store. After taking the material, he started checking with a 9-mm pistol. During this time, a bullet was fired from the pistol and the bullet went into his left leg. On receiving information about the incident, Dr. Manoj Kumar, DIG, 11 Battalion PAC, and other officers of the battalion and several officers of the Police Department reached the spot. Injured platoon commander was taken to the district hospital by battalion vehicle for treatment. City Kotwal Ambar Singh said that during 6 o’clock in the evening, the doctors of the district hospital have referred the platoon commander to Lucknow Hospital.

Ashok Kumar, Commandant of Moradabad 9th Battalion PAC informed that, Plotoon Commander Pooran Singh Keda, who was injured by the bullet, is a resident of Rudrapur in Uttarakhand state. He lives with his daughter Moni and son-in-law in the Moradabad PAC battalion complex. Ashok Kumar also said that the main reason for the firing of the platoon commander is his own negligence. He said that many times these people explained- told, but these people do not hawk carelessly.
