A jeep fell into a ditch in the Rajiyasar police station area of ​​Sriganganagar district, killing three people and injuring two others, including a riding couple. Police officer Vikram Tiwari said that a jeep on the Bharatmala under construction road near Sardar Khartha fell uncontrollably into the ditch, killing riders Prabhu Singh (60), Mahendra Singh (50) and his wife Raju Kanwar (45) and Dileep Singh and his wife Naresh Kanwar were injured. He said that the injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Rawatsar.

The dead bodies have been kept in the mortuary of the state hospital for postmortem. At the same time, in another accident in Sandera police station area of ​​Pali district, three people were killed when a pickup vehicle broke into a truck running ahead of it in the early hours.

Thanadikari Dolaram said that a pickup vehicle loaded with guava was going to Jodhpur from Botad district of Gujarat. The driver of the moving truck suddenly applied the brakes, causing the pickup vehicle to enter the rear of the truck. He told that Kashmir (25) and Manish (24), who were on the pickup vehicle in the accident, died on the spot. Seriously injured Yogesh (22) died on the way to Pali.

After the postmortem, the bodies have been handed over to family members, the official said. The truck driver escaped from the spot. Police have seized the truck and a case against the driver is being investigated.
