The Skoda Rapid was introduced earlier this year with a 1.0-liter TSI engine. And now, models with automatic gearboxes have been introduced in the Rapid lineup.
The Skoda Rapid TSI automatic has been introduced with a 6-speed torque converter unit. Booking for the new Skoda Rapid 1.0 TSI automatic variant has already started. This car can be booked by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000 in Skoda dealerships across the country. Apart from this, it is also being booked on the Skoda Auto India website. Delivery of the new automatic Skoda Rapid TSI will begin on September 18.
Skoda Rapid TSI automatic will be available only invariants Rider Plus and above. The ex-showroom price of the Skoda Rapid TSI automatic variant starts at Rs 9.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.29 lakh. If the ex-showroom price of different variants is like this. The automatic variant of the Rider Plus will be ex-showroom priced at Rs 9.49 lakh. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the automatic variant of Ambition is Rs 11.29 lakh. The automatic variant of Onyx has priced at Rs 11.49 lakh and the automatic variant of Style is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh. The ex-showroom price of the automatic variant of Monte Carlo is Rs. 13.29 lakhs.
The new Rapid 1.0 TSI AT offers 5 percent more power and 14 percent more torch output than the 1.6 MPI engine of a more mileage rapid range compared to the previous model. Along with this, the company claims that the fuel efficiency of the new car has increased by 9% as compared to the previous motor. That is, the new Rapid 1.0 TSI AT gets 9 percent more mileage.
The new Skoda Rapid TSI Automatic, it has features like a Black signature grille, Quarts cut projector headlamps, Modern crystalline LED, Silver clubber alloy wheels, Black decor on B-pillar, Window chrome garnish. During the virtual launch, the company announced that it plans to double the number of showrooms by 2022. Also, it will enter 15 new cities in the coming time.
