Speaking to the media on Tuesday, CM Gehlot said that he will remain the guardian as long as he stays alive. He also said that it is his responsibility to remove the anger of the MLAs. The journalist asked CM Gehlot if you would run the government for five years? On this, he said that the Congress party will run the government in Rajasthan for five years. I have told the legislators that I will remain your guardian as long as I live.
With his statement, speculation has intensified whether CM Gehlot will leave the CM chair. Because they did not say that they will run the government for five years, rather they have said that the Congress will run the government for five years. CM Gehlot’s statement comes at a time when within a few hours former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot is returning to Jaipur after about a month with his supporting MLAs.
Gehlot, who rejected the pilot, now said – ‘I will be a guardian’, CM Ashok Gehlot said that the leaders of the BJP put all their efforts, but not one of our men broke down. BJP conspired to topple our government at any cost. Even in the midst of this atmosphere, not a single MLA went with him. In such a situation, one can think about what my thinking will be about them. I have told them that I will be your guardian as long as I live. CM further said that it is my duty that Sachin Pilot has high command and trust in me. It is my responsibility to remove those who have expressed their displeasure. Because I am the Chief Minister.
