South Korean investments in UP

(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Uttar Pradesh: A delegation of South Korean electric powered automobile manufacturer, Edison Motors met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday and expressed their wish to make investments in the state, a reliable said.

The delegation led through Managing director Y K Lee met the chief minister at his authentic dwelling and expressed their wish to set up an electrically powered automobile plant in Uttar Pradesh, an authorities spokesperson said.

According to him, Lee stated they have plans to make investments of ₹500 crores to ₹700 crores in the first phase, ₹1,000-1,500 crore in the 2nd section and ₹2,000-3,000 crore in the 0.33 segment of its electric-powered automobile plant which would create employment possibilities for heaps of people.

More than ninety percent of aspects will be made in the nation which would gain its MSME sector. Work on figuring out land close to Lucknow and Yamuna Expressway for putting up the plant used to be on, he said.

Assuring all viable help, the chief minister confused that efforts have been on to evaluate the electric-powered car coverage to make it extra attractive, the spokesperson said.
