Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Samajwadi Party national president and former UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav said that the law that enslaved the farmers to corporate houses has become the main reason for the people’s movement against the arrogant BJP ruling power. Now the farmer will stop the donation of the Bharatiya Janata Party in every village. The BJP has passed the anti-farmer black law, ignoring the opposition on the strength of the majority, it will be overwhelming to ignore the response across the country.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav said in a statement issued on Tuesday that both the policy and intentions of the Bharatiya Janata Party opposed the peasant interest. By the year 2022, he had promised to double the income of the farmers, pay the price of the crop one and a half times more than the cost and waiver. Not a single promise was fulfilled. When there was hoarding of essential vegetables like potatoes, onions, the power of action was in the hands of governments. The Bharatiya Janata Party government ended this system. The SP president said that if the farmers were relieved by this anti-farmer law, why would the cost of maize be Rs 1,000 per quintal even after the ordinance was implemented. Last year it was Rs 2200 per quintal.
SP President Akhilesh Yadav said that every day the poll of false propaganda of the Bharatiya Janata Party is being exposed. Millions of laborers working in the mandis have become unemployed. Farmers are also roaming around. Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the farmers are forcibly taking away the lands in the BJP rule. They are also not being compensated appropriately. The BJP government should increase the circle rate on land acquisition to six times the price paid to farmers. According to the situation and needs of the family, someone in the farmer’s family should also be given a job.
