Debalina Mandal (Intern Journalist) Barcelona: According to the El Mundo newspaper, Lionel Messi has recently made a contract with Barcelona which is worth up to 555 million euros over four seasons.

The Spanish Daily has access to the document of the contract which was signed by Messi with the Catalan club in 2017, which included fixed income and nearly 138 million euros each season. It is one of the most expensive contracts paid to an athlete, said the newspaper.

The newspaper also mentioned that Messi was rewarding the club for years for helping it win more than 30 titles.
