(Namita Pradhan, intern Journalist) It has been easier to stream music or podcasts along with friends as the Spotify’s group session beta allows it. The feature is available only for premium users who can generate shareable links and listen along with friends no matter which place they are. The new feature allows up to 5 people together to listen at a single time. The features are to be released from 28th July. The Spotify desktop app and the web client have finally received the support from standalone Chromecast.
All members of the group should need a Spotify membership to enjoy the feature. The group can be joined through link sharing through any messaging app.
