(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The business ranking of the state and union territories were released today. The ‘State Business Reform Action Plan 2019’ was released by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Andhra Pradesh has secured the first place, Uttar Pradesh second, and Telangana secured third place.
Telangana has slipped one place to reach the third position. In 2018 it was in second place. After these other states are followed by Madhya Pradesh (4th), Jharkhand (5th), Chhattisgarh (6th), Himachal Pradesh (7th), Rajasthan (8th), West Bengal (9th), and Gujarat (10th) place respectively. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated the people of the state including investors and entrepreneurs, for achieving second place in the entire country in the ‘Ease of Doing Business Ranking’. He said that under the ‘State Business Reform Action Plan 2019’, Uttar Pradesh improved its ranking by 10 places to the second position.
The Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh is playing an important role in making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Atmanirbhara Bharat’ campaign successful. The achievement of unprecedented and remarkable improvement in the ranking of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ has been made possible with the cooperation of all. The state government is committed to the overall industrial development of the state. To fulfill this objective, many facilities are provided to the entrepreneurs, directors, and Industrialists.
