Upholding a trial judge, the US Court of appeals in San Francisco on Monday refused the administration request for a stay of the preliminary junctions that prohibit the administration from imposing a wide range of measures including banning the app from Apple and Google’s app stores for US downloads over purported national concern.
However, the Trump administration has WeChat is a threat because Tencent is intertwined with the Chinese communist party the app can be used to spread propaganda, track users, and steal private data of people, similar claimed were made when the administration wanted to ban another Chinese app.
