(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) Mp Sumalatha Ambareesh tested positive for Coronavirus on Monday. She tweeted, “It is Positive (the result of Covid-19) with very mild symptoms and I have been advised home treatment” She confirms it through the tweet.
The Government of Karnataka has decided to close Vidhan Sabha on Monday for sanitizing as of Covid-19. The government has allowed leave for the employee whose age above 50 years for the sanitization of Vidhan Sabha. The decision was taken after a policeman tested positive for the virus on Sunday.
The government has reduced the visiting hours for the Vidhan Sabha and Vikas Sabha. Visitors were allowed during the period of 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm and between 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
