(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Delhi: Supreme Court excuses with cost, a PIL on avoidance of suicides in IITs the nation over. A Bench headed by Justice Rohinton F Nariman excused the request while naming it “completely pointless” and forced an expense of Rs 10,000.

The Bench said specialists, as clear from the request, are alive to the circumstance. The PIL recorded by advocate Gaurav Kumar Bansal has said that there was an expanding number of suicides in IITs and looked for the usage of Section 29 of the Mental Healthcare Act.
