(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern journalist)Delhi: On Wednesday, the Supreme Court ruled that the Central Bureau of Investigation will investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The court said the CBI’s probe into the First Information Report lodged against Rhea Chakraborty is lawful, and ordered Mumbai Police to hand over evidence to the CBI.
SC says FIR registered by Bihar Police is correct, the reference to CBI is lawful. Bihar govt was competent to request CBI for transfer of investigation. CBI is directed to investigate the case. FIR registered at Patna was correct. Mumbai Police has been directed to handover the shreds of evidence to the CBI. This is a victory for Sushant Singh Rajput’s family. SC ruled on all points in our favour.
