It is being told that these are retrieved chats, which Riya deleted. The first chat is between Riya and Gaurav Arya. Gaurav is being described as a drug dealer. It is written in this chat, ‘If we talk about hard drugs, then I have not used more drugs.’ Riya sent this message to Gaurav on 8 March 2017. The second chat is also between Riya and Gaurav. In this, Riya asks Gaurav, ‘You have MD?’ The meaning of MD here is considered to be Methylene deoxy methamphetamine, which is a type of drug that is very strong.
At the same time, a chat is between Sushant’s friend Samuel Miranda and Riya, in which Miranda says, ‘Hi Riya, the stuff is almost over.’ This chat is dated 17 April 2020. After this Miranda asks Riya, can we take this from Shovik’s friend? but he has only hash and bud. ‘ Here hash and bud are considered low-intensity drugs.
In the Sushant case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation revealed Riya’s conversation about drugs in WhatsApp chat. The CBI team together with the ED can analyze the data of Riya’s phone. During interrogation, ED seized the phones and laptops of Riya Chakraborty and his family. Earlier, Subramanian Swamy claimed that Sushant had met a Dubai drug dealer before his death. On Tuesday, his friend Siddharth Peethani, who lived in Sushant Singh’s house, made a nearly 14-hour-long inquiry into the DRDO guest house by the CBI. According to sources, Siddharth Pithani is the biggest suspect in the CBI’s investigation of 5 days so far. The CBI has questioned Siddharth Pithani many times.
