Police had claimed that it was a case of suicide. An early investigation found that he was taking prescription drugs. So far, the police have recorded statements of more than 36 people, including director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, casting director Mukesh Chhabra, actress Sanjana Sanghi and Rajput’s friend Sandeep Singh. Sushant’s girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty has also given her statement to the police.
