(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Agra: The Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort will be opened for tourists from September 21st, just 187 days after the closure of the monuments. Following the corona protocol, tourists will be able to see the Taj Mahal and the Fort in 2 shifts.
The decision was taken by District Magistrate Prabhu N Singh after the covid review meeting. On 3 march in Agra, 5 people of Khandari resident shoe marching were found Corona infected. The family was concerned about returning from Italy. After that when the Taj Mahal and the other monuments were closed on 17 March, there were seven infected cases of Corona in Taj City.
