The protocol and social distancing of covid-19 should be followed at all costs during festivals.
According to the government spokesperson, necessary guidelines have been sent to all the DMs of the state regarding the prevention of infection during various festivals and festivals. It said that special precautions should be taken to prevent covid-19 infection in cultural and public events. The protocol of covid-19, social distancing, mandatory use of masks, etc. should be strictly followed. It should also be ensured that such events do not involve more than the permissible limit.
The public should be aware of the precautions to be taken regarding the prevention of infection of covid-19 at other places including cultural and public places, through public address systems. Elderly and symptomatic persons should be advised not to attend such an event. It should be ensured that such public events are not held in the Containment Zone. It has also been said that it should be ensured that people living in the Containment Zone do not attend cultural and public events being organized and they should celebrate the festivals at their home.
CCTV and videography of cultural programs, mass events should be got done and their recording should be preserved for a minimum of one month by the district administration. CCTV and video footage of these events should be inspected daily by senior administrative and health department officials and identify and challan those who do not wear masks, spit tobacco, pan-masala, etc. in public places. Information about such areas should be regularly given to the DM and Senior Superintendent of Police to prevent this and determine the responsibility of the officers concerned.
