(Milcah Anila, Intern Journalist) Vienna: Terrorist attack in Austria. Five people were killed in a shooting by gunmen in different parts of central Vienna on Monday night. 17 people were injured. Austrian Interior Minister Carl Nehemmar said the gunman was a Syrian sympathizer of the Islamic State (IS). Kuznetsov has dual citizenship in Austria and North Macedonian.
He was previously detained and jailed on his way to Syria to join IS. However, he was released under the Juvenile Act last December and committed the murder. After that Police said the assailant was killed around 08:09 p.m. The shootings took place in all six areas of central Vienna. Seven of those injured in the attack are in critical condition.

A total of 20,000 videos related to the attack were uploaded on social media. Many videos have gone viral. The scenes of a man stabbing and firing a rifle through the streets are horrific. The videos show attacks in densely populated bars.
