(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by reaching the Statue of Unity on the 145th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. During this time, PM Modi gave a strong message to those who promote terror on the border. Along with this, he also mentioned the Pulwama attack and said that the country can never forget the attack. PM Narendra Modi said, ‘Both India’s eyes and attitudes have changed even on the borders. Our soldiers have the power to give a befitting reply to those who keep an eye on the border. India is fully prepared to protect its sovereignty and honor. Just as some countries have opened up in support of terrorism, together it remains a matter of global concern, the whole world needs to be united today. No one can benefit from terrorism and violence.
PM Modi said, ‘The country can never forget that some people were not saddened by the sacrifice of security personnel during the Pulwama attack. At that time these people were only doing politics. I request him not to do such politics in the interest of the nation. Let me tell you that last year, CRPF convoy was attacked by terrorists in Pulwama, in which 40 soldiers were killed.”
Recently, Union Minister of Pakistan Fawad Choudhary said in Parliament that under Imran Khan’s leadership, Pakistan responded to India in Pulwama. PM Modi said, ‘India has been suffering from terrorism for a long time. India has lost countless young people and its people. India knows terrorism very well. Today, the whole world has to unite and defeat the power that is promoting terrorism. We have given the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbam for centuries, we have given Buddha to the world.’
