(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) New Delhi: The Defence Research and Development Organisation successfully tested the hypersonic Technology demonstrator vehicle using an indigenously developed scramjet proposition system. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh shared this information. Rajnath Singh said that after this success, the progress of the next phase has started. On this occasion, the Defence Minister congratulated the DRDO and its scientists and said that the institute is engaged in realising Narendra Modi’s dream of self-reliant India.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted, “The @DRDO_India has today successfully flight tested the Hypersonic Technology Demonstrator Vehicle using the indigenously developed scramjet propulsion system. With this success, all critical technologies are now established to progress to the next phase.” He further tweeted, “I congratulate to DRDO on this landmark achievement towards realizing PM’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. I spoke to the scientists associated with the project and congratulated them on this great achievement. India is proud of them.”
