The initial segment of the Budget meeting began on January 29 with the President’s location to the joint sitting of the two places of Parliament. The location was boycotted by more than 20 resistance groups, including the Congress, on the side of the interest of the fighting ranchers for the nullification of the three homestead laws.
The Union Budget 2021 was postponed in the Parliament on February 1 by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
From that point, House procedures were cleaned out for four back to back days over the resistance’s interest for discrete conversation on ranch issues.
To make up for the meeting’s lost time, the House sat till 12 PM for a few days.
