(Riya Singh, Intern Journalist) Patna: After burgling the house of Merchant Navy captain, the criminals stole more than 60 lakh assets from the flat of CRPF Assistant Commandant Kiran Singh and BJP leader Uday Kumar at Mahavir Enclave in Vasant Vihar Colony, Rajivnagar. Apart from this, the thieves broke the door latch of three flats of Aprajita Apartment but couldn’t find anything.
The culprits easily escaped after committing the crime of theft at the flats of Mahavir Enclave and Aprajita Apartment on Monday night. However, while running away, they broke the CCTV camera installed outside a flat in Mahavir Enclave. Police detained two guards from these apartments, whose role seems prima facie suspicious.
The thieves took away jewelry and other valuables from Kiran Singh’s flat i.e. flat no. 102. At the same time, they took jewelry, laptop, an expensive watch, 20,000, and other belongings from BJP leader Uday Kumar’s flat no. 401.
They broke the locks of flat no. 303, 305, and 102 of Aprajita Apartment. Two of the three flats were empty. The flat no. 102 has a lawyer’s office. Nothing could be stolen from these flats.
