The ministry said in a release, ‘This is the lowest in 136 days. The total active cases on July 22, 2020, were 4,11,133. This is due to the greater number of people recovering than the new patients coming forward. This has resulted in a drop in active caseloads. ‘
At the same time, there is a period of ups and downs in the cases of coronavirus in the country. In the last 24 hours, 36,011 new cases of infection have been reported. On Saturday, 36,652 new cases of Covid-19 were reported. There has been a slight decline in daily affairs on Sunday as compared to Saturday. The total number of infected people in the country has crossed 96 million. Out of these, more than 91 lakh people have become free from infection.
