Two NCB officers have been badly injured in this attack. Attack on the team of Narcotics Crime Bureau has been carried out by a mob of about 60 people.
He was attacked when NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede and his team went to catch the drug paddler. Two NCB officials Vishvavijaya Singh and Shiva Reddy, who was attacked by drug peddlers, are now safe. The drug paddler that the NCB team went to catch is named Carry Mandis. However, with the help of Mumbai Police, the situation has been controlled. Carrie Mandis has been taken into custody by the police along with her 3 accomplices. A case has been registered against these three at Goregaon police station under section 353 of IPC.
