(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist)San Francisco, Northern California’s Sonoma County again caught fire due to strong winds on Monday. Many houses were destroyed by the fire and about 70 thousand people were evacuated from here. Meanwhile, three people died in another fire incident in the northern region of the province.
68,000 people evacuated
The fire broke out in Napa-Sonoma County on Sunday. Three years ago there was a similar fire here, in which 22 people died. Cal Nichols Division chief Ben Nichols said about 68,000 people have been evacuated from Sonoma and Napa counties. There is a fire at about 30 places across the province. The remaining people of the area have also been warned that they too may have to leave. It will be easier to extinguish the fire if the winds are slow.
