(Dharshini.G,Intern journalist) TikTok CEO Kevin Mayer has quit his job, the company said in an announcement. His resign comes days after the famous short-structure video-sharing app and one of its representatives sued US President Donald Trump’s organization over his leader request restricting exchanges in the US, considering it an appearance to fuel against China manner of speaking as he looks for re-election. In a letter to staff, the TikTok CEO stated: “It is with overwhelming sadness that I needed to tell all of you that I have chosen to leave the organization.”
TikTok General Manager Vanessa Pappas will supplant Kevin Mayer on a broken promise.
In June, Mr. Mayer expected the job of a chief working official (COO) at TikTok’s China-based parent, ByteDance. He reports directly to the organization’s founder and CEO Yiming Zhang.
Mr. Mayer had joined TikTok following a long and effective profession at Disney, most as of late as an administrator of its direct-to-consumer and worldwide organizations, as per TikTok’s site.
