And recently many people all over Andhra Pradesh raised their voice against a sudden rise in their power bills. For Instance, Ramana, a resident of Vijayawada, who usually gets a power bill of Rs 500 every month received a bill of 10,000 in Lockdown.
Likewise, Tollywood actor Ankush Twas was the first celebrity to comment against high electricity bills. He took to Twitter to complain about this issue. He posted a picture of his electricity bill tagging the concerned authorities in it. He also added tweeting, From 4,000-21,000? Trust me in this COVID times I didn’t put on some disco lights or HMI to have fun! Still so much to pay in return? Don’t do this to us.
