(Pooja Pal; Intern Journalist): Raktanchal Trailer: After ‘Mirzapur’ web series on the battle for supremacy in Banaras and Ghazipur, Purvanchal will be made ‘Raktanchal’. The trailer of MX Player’s web series ‘Raktanchal’ has been released. After web series like ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘Rangbaz’, a new web series has come again with the story of Crime and Criminal of Purvanchal and Uttar Pradesh. Raktanchal will be streamed on MX Player on May 28.
What’s in the trailer?
The trailer depicts the story of the 80s Purvanchal which depicts muscular men who think of themselves to be very powerful at that time. They weren’t even afraid of the police. Meantime two new muscular men enter named Vijay Singh and Wasim Khan. Both came face to face for contracts ranging from coal to liquor. Wasim is getting the support of the ruling party, while Vijay is in the hope of political support. There are two leaders, Saheb Singh and Puraji Singh. Amid politics, money, and domination, both Vijay & Wasim lead Purvanchal into the world of crime. In such a situation, Purvanchal is in a pool of blood.
Star cast:-
Kranti Prakash Jha is playing the character of Vijay Singh. He has previously played important roles in films like ‘MS Dhoni the Untold Story’, ‘Ram Leela’ and ‘Batla House’. At the same time, Nikitin Dheer is playing the character of Wasim Khan. Nikitin Dheer has become famous for playing Thangabali in ‘Chennai Express’. Apart from this, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in the starrer film Suryavanshi. Apart from these two, Pramod Pathak, Chittaranjan Tripathi, and Soundarya Sharma are also in lead roles. Earlier, MX Player’s web series ‘Bhaukaal’ has been shown about the crime of western Uttar Pradesh. The series received a decent response from the audience.
