At present, Vande Bharat Express completes the journey of Delhi in about four hours in the shortest time on this route.

Signal work from Delhi to Central station has been updated to a great extent in addition to the Kanpur Lucknow rail section. By this period, DFC will also become operational, then goods trains will also start running on the Reserve track.
