“IndiGo has presented an assistance expense of INR 100 for registration at the air terminal counters viable October 17, 2020,” read the announcement. 

“We urge all travellers to web registration according to the Government mandate, utilizing our site or versatile application. The registration charge at the air terminal counters is appropriate on all appointments made, beginning from today for example October 17, 2020,” it said. 

As homegrown flights continued in India on 25 May, the Ministry of Civil Aviation had made it compulsory for travellers to do web registration to lessen contact focuses at the air terminal considering the novel Covid pandemic. When web registration is done, the internet ticket is given by the aircraft to the traveller. 

“From May 25, just travellers with affirmed web registration will be permitted to enter an air terminal, the Civil Aviation Ministry stated and included that there will be no physical registration at counters,” the SOP delivered by the administration said.
