(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) US: US President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden have stepped up their campaign for the November 3 presidential election, both on the ground and in virtual domains, telling Americans why they should vote. Trump, the Republican candidate, is contesting once again. The 77-year-old, Biden, who has been a senator for several decades and was a vice president during the Obama administration, is urging his countrymen to keep him in the Oval Office for a four-year term beginning on January 20, 2021.
On Friday, Trump addressed three rallies in the battlegrounds of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, with the president expected to wrestle with Democrats after several decades. Biden, whose campaign has been mostly in the virtual domain, was also campaigning in three states, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, via Zoom Call.
