(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); US President Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize next year (2021 Nobel Peace Prize). Norway MP Christian Tybring Gazed has nominated Trump for this prestigious award. Christian Tybring Gjedde has nominated Trump for this prestigious award given the important role Trump played in the peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. In the year 2018 too, Trump was nominated for this award.
Christian Tybring Gjedde said that Trump did not just negotiate an agreement between Israel and the UAE, but he took a positive initiative between India and Pakistan on the Kashmir issue. Not only this, he also tried to end conflicts worldwide. Tybring went on to say that I think no other nominated member has made more efforts to establish global peace than Trump. Tybring, president of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO parliamentary assembly, said the Trump administration played an important role in cementing relations between Israel and the UAE.
