During this time, not only the two groups sprayed pepper on each other, but one person from the Trump group beat the person of the other group. Police have arrested two people in this regard. After the death of George Floyd in May, anti-racist demonstrations are continuing in the US. Strikes and demonstrations have been going on in Portland for the last 100 days.
More than 100 Trump supporters arrived at the government building in Portland, the capital of Oregon Province, Monday afternoon by several vehicles. These people carried Trump-2020 placards and American flags. Some people also had weapons in their hands. After some sloganeering, he clashed with more than 20 Black Lives Matter protesters. During this time, the two groups not only sprayed chili on each other, but a Trump supporter beat the Black Lives Matter protester with a baseball bat.
Two dozen provincial police officers were present on the spot during the entire incident, but they did not intervene. However, when Trump supporters began beating the anti-apartheid protesters more, the police arrested two white protesters.
