(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)USA: A panel of 24 influential Republican Congressmen requested US President Donald Trump to Ban TikTok and other Chinese Apps in The USA. They penned a letter stating that the Indian Government took an extra-ordinary step by banning 60 different Chinese applications.
India Banned 60 Chinese affiliated mobile applications in June, including TikTok, due to national safety interests. Now to protect American People’s protection and safety, the panel wrote to Trump. Till now the Chinese executives are enjoying the allowable access to US consumer and Government via advanced Data Mining now that will pause.
When we use a social platform it automatically collects some data including the Internet, IP address, Browser, search history…etc. That will help the admin to access our private data. Also, a bill is introduced in the Senate prohibiting certain individuals in downloading such Apps, that strip our data. Trump is likely to pass this bill in forbidding these Chinese Apps.
