Now Trump administration has turned over its decision. Massachusetts Institute of technology and Harvard University have gone to court against this plan. District Judge Allison Burrows of Massachusetts says agreement it now reached on all sides. According to a report, The policy implemented in March under the agreement has been re-implemented. Under this, international students can legally stay in America on student visas even after taking online classes. Millions of students go to American universities every year and this is a big way of earning.
Harvard recently announced that classes will operate online due to Coronavirus. Like many other institutions in the US, MIT said that virtual classes will run. Last week, foreign students said that they can stay in America only if they go to class in university. When coronavirus deepened in March, many students returned to their country. These students told that they were not allowed to come back because their class is going online. The Directorate of Overseas and Customs of America had said that those who disobey this rule will be sent back to their country.
