(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist), New York; For the third time in a week, black paint was thrown on the yellow-colored ‘Black Lives Matter’ on the street outside Trump Tower in New York City, USA. Two women have been arrested on charges of the incident that occurred at three o’clock on Saturday afternoon. In a video on social media, a woman is seen surrounded by police officers and she is rubbing black paint on glowing yellow letters and screaming that she is not worried about the lives of black people.
The woman is also demanding that the police department not be given funds from the public fund. Police said an officer slipped on the paint, causing injuries to his head and arm. He is admitted to the hospital. A spokesman for the police department said that no information could be obtained at the moment on the names of the women and the charges leveled against them.
