The company’s driver and customer support operations were disrupted due to the Covid-19 crisis, as well as its operations were almost shut down. As a result, in May, the company had announced the removal of its 600 employees in the next three months. Uber said in a statement on Wednesday, “The company is recruiting 140 engineers for its Bangalore and Hyderabad position technology team. Prior to this, Valliyur has worked for 14 years at Amazon.
