(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Unnao: In Unnao, on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway in the Gangaghat police station area, near the bridge located in Tribhuvanakheda village, on Saturday morning, an uncontrollable bike fell into a deep hole. Two friends on the bike were killed. The bike riders were going to Kanpur from Unnao. Passengers passing at the time of the accident informed the police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took the dead bodies and sent them for postmortem.
Omkar Singh, hailing from Harjendra Nagar Mohalla of Kanpur, was returning from Unnao on a bike between 3 to 4 am with his friend JK Colony resident Ramendra Shrestha (31). As the two approached the Tribhuvanakheda culvert, their bike became uncontrolled. Both the bike riders fell into the deep ditch. Both died on the spot. Passengers passing there after seeing the accident informed the Gangaghat police about the incident. Police reached the spot and took both bodies and searched them. After identifying the bodies on the basis of the papers received from them, the information of the incident was given to the family members. There was chaos in both the families on the death notice.
