(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh are continuously holding rallies. In this series, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a public meeting in Bangarmau on October 27.
After the assembly membership of Kuldeep Singh Sengar surrounded in the Unnao rape case, the Bangarmau seat is vacant. Sanger was an MLA from BJP and his assembly membership was canceled after he was named in the rape case.
On this seat, BJP has nominated former District President Shrikant Katiyar. At the same time, Congress has fielded Aarti Vajpayee, BSP Mahesh Pal and SP has nominated Suresh Pal.
Eight assembly seats are vacant in the state out of which elections are being held on seven. Voting will take place on November 3 and the result will be announced on November 10.
