(Aditya Shaw, Intern Journalist): The beneficiaries of the Anganwadi centers in Uttar Pradesh will be distributed for the first time on 25 November under decentralized arrangements. The Yogi government of UP has given this task to local women self-help groups, changing the system of production and supply which has been operating for more than 30 years. This will be the first distribution under the new system implemented after breaking the signatory of the Registrar Mafia.

Special instructions have been given to the District Magistrates for distribution under a nutritional transparent system. Additional Chief Secretary of Child Development and Nutrition Department of Uttar Pradesh, S. Radha Chauhan said that the mandate has been issued for the supply and distribution of supplementary nutrition at Anganwadi centers and mini Anganwadi centers. The government has given this task to local women self-help groups, changing the system of production and supply, which has been operating for more than 30 years. This will provide employment to women.

Additional Chief Secretary told all the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates that there is already a provision for monitoring committees at various levels in the districts such as Village Monitoring Committee, Block Monitoring Committee, and District Monitoring Committee. So make sure that all committees are formed. The department is giving priority to the establishment of a nutrition garden. Its purpose is to encourage the common man to plant fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants in every house along with community places and inform them about the benefits from them.
