(Deepshikha Gautam, Intern Journalist) Lucknow: A proposal has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) on Monday for the recruitment of 7882 accountants in the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Council. The recruitment process will start soon on these posts. The Commission will soon issue notifications for recruitment to these posts. UPSSSC had in March 2019 removed 1364 vacancies of Consolidation Lekhpal which was later canceled. Qualification of 12th pass was sought for this recruitment. Therefore, it is quite possible that this time also the 12th qualification will be held. The age limit can be kept from 18 to 40 years. The maximum age limit will be relaxed as per the rules of the UP government. The UP government has implemented a new system to prevent any kind of rigging in recruitment to Group C posts. Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will conduct a preliminary examination (PET) in the two-stage examination system for this. The results will be declared on the basis of percentile score. It will be valid for one year.
Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Mukul Sinhal has ordered in this regard. The preliminary examination will be held once a year. In the new system, only the percentage score will be declared in place of the total score. Based on this, the shortlisting of the applicants for the main examination will be done. The main examination, skill test, or physical examination will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates based on the preliminary qualifying examination scores as per the specific requirements of various departments and the provisions of the service rules. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will be valid for the next year or marks obtained in the future examination conducted by the central government, whichever is earlier.
After the formation of the National Recruitment Institution (NRA), the Commission will only use the NRA’s General Qualification Test (CET) scores in the shortlisting of candidates for the main examinations. With the new system, candidates will not need to apply again and again for different recruitment exams.
Adopting the ‘Know Your Candidate’ process, a one-time registration will be conducted and a preliminary qualifying examination will be conducted for all types of posts in various departments of Group C under the two-stage examination system.
