(Anjali Shreya, Intern Journalist): The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested a reward of 50 thousand rupees Ram Singh Yadav involved in the murder of eight policemen in Bikaru village of Kanpur. Yadav, a partner of notorious crook Vikas Dubey, was arrested from the Kanpur countryside area. Police gave this information on Monday. According to a statement issued by the STF on Monday, on the intervening night of the last two-three July, a reward of 50,000 rupees worth of Rs 50,000 was included in the accused of killing eight policemen by the associates of notorious crook Vikas Dubey in Bikaru village on Sunday late evening. Was arrested in the Akbarpur area of Kanpur countryside.
According to the STF, Yadav has told in the interrogation that on the night of the incident, at the behest of Vikas, he had reached his house with his double-barrel license gun and opened fire on the policemen by standing on the roof of Vikas’s partner Prabhat’s house. Yadav also told that he was also entrusted with the responsibility of collecting and burning the bodies of the slain policemen but he escaped due to the arrival of a large number of police forces on the spot.
