(Namita Pradhan, Intern Journalist) In the case related to 2017, a 35-year-old woman Meenakshi was going to sell a minor girl of Haridwar. She had a deal with the victim’s family and her brother-in-law. The woman was a mediator, she was taking the girl so that she can make her brother married to a minor girl. The victim is missing and police are tracking her. Details have been shared with Delhi Police and UP police.
In 2017, the girl father Rajpal was caught for selling her daughter at a price ofRs 45,000.
