Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Lucknow: The tenure of more than 58 thousand village heads of the state will end at midnight on 25 December. Panchayati Raj Director Kinjal Singh has instructed that the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) of all the heads on the E. Gram Swaraj portal should be unregistered at 12 pm on Friday night.
After the dissolution of the gram panchayats on December 25 due to lack of timely elections, the Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat) will be appointed as their administrator. So far, the Gram Pradhan was consuming the funds being allocated from the 15th Finance Commission and the Fifth State Finance Commission through the Public Finance Management System (PFMS) and e-Gram Swaraj.
The director on Wednesday instructed all DMs that no payment should be made as a checker to the princes after 25 December. If there is any transaction with the princes on the e-village Swaraj, then the concerned Gram Panchayat Secretary, SDO Panchayat and DPRO will be responsible for it.
