Pollution in Lucknow air has increased so much that AQI reached alarming levels on Thursday. According to CPCB data, AQI in Lucknow recorded 420. Lucknow is the third most polluted city in the country.
At the same time, Kanpur city has got most pollution in the country. It was AQI 431. Muzaffarnagar’s air is polluted at number two. According to UPPCB officials, the fog has increased with the cold.
This created a thick smog layer with dust and smoke. Due to this, fog remained in the city throughout the day. This worked to increase pollution in the air. To reduce this, water spraying and cleaning of roads have been started. At the same time, teams are monitoring the construction site and industrial areas.
