Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Uttar Pradesh’s cabinet minister Kamal Varun has passed away. Her full name was Kamal Rani Varun and she was a member of the UP Legislative Assembly. Prior to this, she has also been an MP. Kamal Rani Varun was the Minister of Technical Education in the UP government. Kamal Varun was infected with Corona and was undergoing treatment at PGI, Lucknow.
Kamal Rani Varun was a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, Kamal Rani has died from Corona. She was infected with Corona on 18 July. Later, he was admitted to Lucknow PGI for treatment where he died on Sunday. Kamal Varun was born on 3 May 1958. Her corona test was done last month in which she was found infected.
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has mourned his death. The Chief Minister wrote, The information about the untimely demise of my colleague in the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Cabinet Minister Smt Kamal Rani Varun Ji, is disturbing. On behalf of the Chief Minister’s office, it was written in the tweet, ‘Today on 02.08.2020 at around 9:30 am, Smt Kamal Rani Varun Ji, Minister of Technical Education has died during treatment at SGPGI, Lucknow. Mrs. Varunji was an MLA from Ghatampur, the Kanpur city. Prior to this, Mrs. Varun Ji was a member of the 11th and 12th Lok Sabha. Mrs. Varun Ji as a public representative respected the people’s aspirations. As a minister, She has made a commendable contribution to discharging departmental functions efficiently. His death is an irreparable loss to the society and the government.
