(Rishitha Jaladi, Intern Journalist)Uttar Pradesh: Prime minister Narendra Modi launched a new scheme for farmers during the Corona crisis. Its a 1 lack crore agricultural project that will help many farmers, all over India. In this view, The Uttar Pradesh government conducted a drive to list out the farmers who are eligible to receive this financial help from the center.
The center decided to spend 1 lack crore for Prime Minister Kisan Fund, which is given to farmers in loan form for four years. However, only 10, 000 crore will be given to farmers in the year 2020-2021, and the remaining amount is given in the coming three years. On 3% interest, a subsidy is also given to farmers on loan amounting Rs 2 crore or less up to seven years.
