(Dharshini.G, Intern journalist)Five individuals were killed and 18 harmed after a bus crashed into a vehicle on the Agra-Lucknow highway in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. The driver of the bus is among those killed in the mishap.

The transport was en route to Delhi from Bihar’s Darbhanga region, as indicated by the news organization. The mishap occurred around 5 am, over 100 kilometers away from Lucknow. The travelers on the transport were workers, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gaurav Shukla said.

Kannauj Superintendent of Police Amrendra PD Singh told that around 40 travelers were on the transport. “The bus tumbled in the highway subsequent to crashing into an SUV,” he said. “Apparently the bus driver neglected to recognize the SUV in time that prompted the crash and lost control of the bus.”

Individuals harmed in the mishap have been moved to a medical clinic. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath said the authorities to guarantee that legitimate treatment is given to the harmed individuals.
