Aatmja Kumari(Intern Journalist): Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has again attacked the Yogi government in UP over law and order. Priyanka said that the government leaders only make rhetorical statements about the prevention of crime in the state, but continuous incidents are coming out.
The Congress General Secretary referred to the incident of the kidnapping of an iron trader in Baghpat. She alleged that people are not safe in this government. Priyanka tweeted, ‘An iron trader was kidnapped in Baghpat this morning. Women are not safe in UP. Merchants are not safe. Children are not safe, ‘the Congress in-charge of Uttar Pradesh claimed that the people of the government go to the election meetings and give a blank speech. Fear prevails in public.
It is worth noting that since the incident of gang rape and murder of a Dalit girl in Hathras, UP, Priyanka has been pursuing an aggressive attitude towards law and order in the state. Priyanka also went to meet the victim’s family in Hathras. She has consistently targeted the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over the incidents that took place in other cities of the state including Ballia.
