(Manisha Mahar, Intern Journalist); In order to avenge the martyrdom of the police personnel in the encounter at Chaubepur in Kanpur, the Kanpur administration has started taking action by demolishing the house of notorious criminal Vikas Dubey. On Saturday, an administration team reached Satru village and started demolishing Vikas Dubey’s house.
On Saturday, Congress Uttar Pradesh President Ajay Kumar Lallu reached the Regency Hospital to meet the injured police personnel in the encounter. Here he interacted with the injured policemen and came to know about them. Lallu also met the family members of the injured.
Police have also taken Vikas Dubey’s father Ramkumar Dubey into custody. With this, all the bank accounts of the Vikas Dubey have been sealed. Police are investigating all the properties of the accused.
It is considered the role of Chaubepur SO Vinay Tiwari as a suspect in the Chaubepur encounter, IG Range Kanpur has issued an order to immediately suspend him. A team of STF is also making inquiries regarding the encounter with Vinay.
Late night on Thursday, the police team went to capture Vikas Dubey was attacked in Bikaru village by miscreants. In which eight police personnel including a CO were martyred. CM Yogi has ordered immediate action against the culprits in this case. More than fifty teams across the state have been raiding continuously for the last 36 hours. Closed known people of Vikas are being questioned. An intensive search operation is being done to seal the borders of the state.
